Compatibility Question.

Hi there,

I have a question about compatibility of the Team Elite memory with an Gigabyte motherboard.

I have this motherboard:

And i'd like to buy this Team Elite DC 2 x 1 GB PC6400 800MHz memory kit:

I've checked the Gigabytes QVL list (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList/...ma78g-ds3h.pdf) and found only this (part?) number in their list: TEDD1024M800C5, while the kit number (wich i mentioned above) is al little different: TEDD2048M800HC5DC.

My question is now: will this dual channel kit from Team Elite work problemless with this Gigabyte motherboard or not?

It should work. The number denotes 1024M for a single memory module. You got the 2048M because you have the dual channel or two memory modules package.

The Elite series has several choice of capacity, such as 4GB kit, 2GB kit, 2GB (single),1GB(single)...etc
